Ricardo grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, surfing and watching the boats passing after the lineup. He began working as a columnist in surf magazines at a very young age and then became a columnist in yacht magazines many years later.

His spirit always felt a strong connection with the ocean.

Ricardo concluded his MBA in management and started working in the fashion shoe industry as a Marketing Manager with many national and international photographers. He also worked as the Business Director of a photography studio, making his career change to sailing photography a natural transition for him.

As a Big Boat Skipper, Ricardo won many titles in Brazil's most important sailing regattas also he raced as a bowman in the Soling Class World Championship and Nations Cup.

Ricardo is a sailboat racer and loves telling your stories through his eyes.
